California Super Bloom 2023
California experienced an unusual amount of rain to start off 2023. As a result, the spring of 2023 was filled with a vibrant “super bloom.” I took public data from the iNaturalist crowd-sourced flower sighting database, grouped flowers in the same genus together, then for clarity plotted only the most commonly reported wild flowers. Are these flowers also common where you live?
